Discord Review Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago ***My original review was positive, but this time I’ve had a rough experience -reputation minus, but a +rep for finally getting it working*** My experience: I purchased RIE Loader and EAC firmware on 23/11. Because of ongoing EAC issues, I’ve only just managed to get up and running today, 04/12/25. I already had DMA from them based on my previous review, so I had an idea of what to expect when setting everything up. However, every time I launched RIE I kept getting the same error Unable to connect to DMA Thinking it might be a key issue, I reached out to support - but responses were slow (time zones) here’s everything I tried: • Reset my PC • Reinstalled Windows • Reset BIOS • Disabled and re-enabled every relevant option • Reflashed • Deleted all downloads and redownloaded everything Still no solution. I was given new firmware, but the issue remained. So I purchased another 30-day loader (Eden) meaning I now had two loaders - and still had the exact same problem. (Down £ and no service) With the new loader and new firmware, I repeated all of the above steps again while support continued to be extremely slow. Same issue, no progress. Finally, today I was sent yet another firmware… and suddenly everything works. Which tells me that I reset Windows (twice, including back to Windows 10), reset BIOS, reapplied every setting, reflashed, and did all sorts of troubleshooting for nothing - simply because the earlier two firmwares I was given was faulty. I didn’t complain about buying two separate 30-day keys, and I didn’t request a refund. All I asked for was to recover the ~4 days I lost on Eden due to the issue not being on my end - but apparently nothing can be done. If the roles were reversed, I would’ve recognised a returning customer noticed they’d been sent three firmwares and at the very least offered a genuine apology. This time around, it’s been rough.
